Alookaran Silver ("Alookaran," "we," "us," or "our") is a BIS-hallmarked silver jewellery brand based in Kerala, India, operating from Thrissur, Chavakkad, and Vadanapally. We design and sell handcrafted 925 and 999 pure silver jewellery, including anklets, belly chains, Navaratna rings, Rudraksha jewellery, and customizable pieces, through our website https://alookaran.com/.
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, our products, and any communication we send you, including messages sent via RCS (Rich Communication Services), SMS, WhatsApp, email, or phone.
By placing an order, browsing our website, or opting in to receive messages from us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order with us.
3. Products
All products listed are handcrafted silver jewellery, hallmarked as per BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) where applicable.
Product images are for representation purposes. Due to the handcrafted nature of our jewellery, slight variations in design, finish, or weight may occur.
Prices are listed in INR (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or update product listings, descriptions, and prices at any time without prior notice.
4. Orders and Payment
An order is confirmed only after successful payment or, where applicable, upon confirmation via our customer support.
We accept payments through the payment methods listed on our website/checkout.
We reserve the right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity, and will notify you and process a refund where applicable.
5. Customization
Customized or personalized products (e.g., name belly chains) are made specifically for you and are therefore not eligible for return or exchange, unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
Any changes requested after production has begun may incur additional charges.
6. Shipping and Delivery
We offer free door-to-door delivery across India, with typical delivery within 3–5 business days.
International orders are delivered within 10–15 business days and attract an international handling charge of ₹2,500 per product.
Shipping charges, where applicable, are calculated at checkout based on your location and order contents.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, location, or circumstances beyond our control.
7. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Returns are accepted within 7–10 days from the date of delivery.
To request a return, contact our customer support within the return window at 7992-62-7992 or care@alookaran.com.
Returned products must be unused, in original condition, with all original packaging, accessories, and the price tag intact. Products returned without the original price tag are not eligible for return.
Once a returned product passes quality inspection, you may choose an exchange or a refund as per our return policy.
Customized/personalized products are excluded from returns and exchanges except in cases of damage or defect.
Refunds, where approved, will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe after inspection.
8. Communication and Messaging Consent (RCS/SMS/WhatsApp/Email)
By providing your phone number or email, or by opting in on our website, at checkout, or in-store, you consent to receive messages from Alookaran Silver related to:
Order confirmations, shipping and delivery updates
Payment and refund notifications
Customer support responses

All content on this website, including but not limited to product designs, images, logos, and text, is the property of Alookaran Silver and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without our prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Alookaran Silver shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products, delays in delivery caused by third-party couriers, or events beyond our reasonable control.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thrissur, Kerala, India.
